Recently I have been loving baked beans on toast for breakfast. The winter mornings are here, when it is dark and cold outside all I want is a warming breakfast (that is where Emma and I don’t agree as she enjoys nice cream and smoothie bowls all year round). I also find that it fills me up much more than other breakfasts #protein. I don’t always have time to make my own baked beans but I thought I would share my smokey baked bean recipe I use, of course it doesn’t have to be eaten for breakfast, you could have it any time of the day or use it as a base for another meal eg: shakshuka. The recipe is super simple:1x 400g tin of haricot beans
